July 2026 Update: Automatic WebP Image Optimization, Cloudflare R2 Storage Support, and Faster AI Layout
A roundup of the latest Landopa improvements: automatic WebP image optimization, direct image uploads in the Builder, Cloudflare R2 storage support served through the cdn.habifyhub.com CDN, and a faster AI Layout assistant.
This month Landopa focused on page load speed and the image-editing experience in the Builder, along with infrastructure improvements for Agency accounts. Here is a roundup of the most notable changes.
Landing Page Images Now Automatically Convert to WebP
The system now automatically swaps image URLs in the page schema for optimized WebP variants whenever the page is rendered to a visitor — no manual action required on your part.
No action needed — every image you uploaded previously will also be served in the optimized format when the page is viewed, boosting average load speed by 20-30%.
Direct Image Upload, No More Pasting URLs
The Image Field Editor in the Builder has been simplified: the manual URL input tab has been removed in favor of a single, direct upload flow.
- Drag and drop, or pick a file directly from your computer
- No need to host images elsewhere and paste in a link
- Images are compressed and converted to WebP automatically when saved
Cloudflare R2 Storage Support for Agency Plans
Landopa added Cloudflare R2 storage support, served through the cdn.habifyhub.com CDN. Agency accounts managing many pages and large volumes of assets can now take advantage of R2's lower bandwidth costs and faster image delivery via a global CDN, instead of relying entirely on the default infrastructure.
AI Layout Is Now Faster and More Accurate
The AI Layout Service has been improved: increased timeout for complex requests, disabled "thinking" mode for faster responses, and improved extraction of JSON content returned by the model.
- Wait time for AI-generated layouts is significantly shorter
- Fewer JSON parsing errors when the AI returns complex, multi-section layouts
